Photography questions:-

• Can I book just photography only, without any video included?
Yes. We have three options for photography only, three video only packages and three combined options, including both photography and video.

• How many photographs would I receive?
Typically the proofs will include hundreds of photographs from which you select a predetermined number allocated per option, between 65 and 110, included on CD in high resolution, copyright free, for copying and printing.

• What is your style of wedding photography?
Our wedding style is to work unobtrusively, capturing the wedding story as it unfolds by keeping the number of formal groups to a minimum and including many more intimate and spontaneous moments, but we always try to follow Bride and Grooms wishes.

• Do the photography options include any prints?
All photography options include your selected images on CD for you to print your own photographs. However, if you choose one of our albums or story books all the photographs are included in the price.

• Who decides which photographs are included on the CD or in the final book or album?
You choose the predetermined number of photographs, allocated per option, between 65 and 110. Additional images in the wedding book or album, above the predetermined allocation, are £5 each.

• Who decides the layout of the photographs in the wedding story book?
Bayvista Studios will design the wedding book but you always get a chance to make alterations before it goes to the lab for production.

• Do you offer black and white photographs?
Yes, we offer a mix of colour and black and white, along with some others such as sepia.

• How do we order re-prints?
Either directly with ourselves or via our web site. Using a password, the photographs can be viewed in our on-line gallery, where customers may select re-prints at various sizes and pay on-line. When ready the photographs are posted to customers.

• Can we order an album for our parents?
Yes, additional wedding books or albums can be ordered. We offer a range of wedding books ideally suited for parents.

• Can we have the additional photographs, not included in our selection, on CD?
Yes, but there is an additional fee for all the images. Typically this will be an additional 350 images depending on the time option selected.

Video questions:-

• What format is the wedding captured?
All weddings are now captured using two high definition cameras and are supplied on DVD at 16:9 ratio.

• What would be the final length of the wedding DVD?
An edited wedding DVD will last on average two and a half hours.

• Does the DVD include a menu?
Yes, motion menus and chapters are provided on the wedding DVD.

• Can we order extra copies of the wedding DVD?
Yes, additional copies are £20 each.


General questions:-

• How soon do I need to book?
As our suppliers costs increase our prices may increase accordingly; remember, it is never too early to book and once we receive your deposit you are guaranteed the price is fixed, no matter when in the future your wedding is held.

• How do you cope if a cameraman cannot attend the wedding either for sickness or otherwise?
In the very unlikely event one of our cameramen is unavailable, Bayvista Studios will continue to capture the wedding with its remaining team. We only ever use our own photographers and cameramen, who work exclusively for Bayvista Studios, but having more than one photographer and cameraman allows us to deal much easier with unexpected events.

• How do you cope with equipment failure?
Even though failures are extremely rare we do our best to mitigate problems by carrying spare cameras and equipment.

• Do you have insurance?
Yes, all our equipment is insured. We also have public liability, employee liability and professional indemnity insurance.

• How far would you travel?
There are no venues we have refused because of distance, but an expense charge maybe required for weddings outside of Cumbria.

• Does the price quoted include VAT?
There is no additional VAT to add to our prices. The prices quoted are what you pay.
